Organically grown foods are increasingly becoming popular these days due to its various health benefits. Organic foods contain more nutrients than foods raised non-organic methods. Non-organic foods contain chemicals which are harmful for your body. Hence the best way to avoid pesticides, fertilizers etc. is to avoid them and take organic foods. Organic foods contain up to 95% organic ingredients beside water and salt. They do not contain preservatives such as sulfites which provoke allergies and asthma in some people. Studies have shown that children who take conventional diets have more pesticides in their bodies. These chemicals are harmful and may lead to impeding with normal neurological development. Organic foods are more nutritious and some organic foods contain more vitamin C and protein content. Organic farms are better for the environment and more compatible with wildlife and conservation programs. It is reported that organic foods are more costly compared to conventionally grown foods. However, organic foods are better for your own health and your family’s health.
