Ergotism

Ergotism is a disease which is caused due to ergot poisoning. The content of ergot is highly present in the drugs. When you intake the excessive drugs, you will catch the disease. Some types of grains, nuts or cereal products are contaminated with bacteria or fungus. This is also the cause for this disease. It may even transfer from mother to child through breast feeding. The symptoms of this disease are body pain, nausea, vomiting, itching and headache. It affects the central nervous system. If you face the symptoms, then you will consult the doctor. It is necessary to remove the ergotism content present in the body. It is the best treatment. The only way to prevent from ergotism is avoid drugs at unnecessary times.
