A biopsy is a test related to the medical field. Biopsy test is essential for examining the several diseases. Its main function is to remove the body cells or body tissues. This removal function is for examining the disease. The tissues or cells are taken from the living object. After removing the tissues, it is examined with the help of microscope and some chemicals. These actions are carried out by a pathologist. There are three types of biopsy. They are excisional biopsy, incisional biopsy and needle aspiration biopsy. Excisional biopsy means removing the certain area from the body. Incisional biopsy means removing the particular tissue or cells as sample. Needle aspiration biopsy means the particular tissues are removed with the help of needle. It does not create any side effects to the body.
